This formula utilizes a Chinese herbal combination that nutritionally supports the body's recovery from stressful periods and can be taken to preserve, protect and replenish the body's deep energy resources.

A blend of Chinese tonic herbs consisting of concentrated herbal extracts of Fleece Flower, Glossy Privet, Rehmannia Root, and Chinese Yam. These four herbs work synergistically to restore and strengthen the body's ability to recover from stressful periods. Each herb was chosen for the following characteristics:

• Fleece Flower is a blood tonic and is known remedy for high blood pressure and arteriosclerosis; promotes growth and development of red blood cells. It is also known to calm the spirit.

• Glossy Privet is a cardiovascular tonic, a nutrient, and builds immunity.

• Rehmannia Root is a strong cardiovascular tonic and blood tonic.

• Chinese Yam is an immunotonic that helps restore immunity, stimulates endocrine secretions, and enhances overall immune response throughout the body.

Stress is a normal part of life; however, long-term stress can cause serious health problems. Irritability, high blood pressure, and headaches are some of the conditions caused by stress. In an effort for the body to prepare for stress, the heart rate increases, fats and sugars are released from reserve supplies, blood prepares for clotting, and the digestive system shuts down.

Since stress mainly affects the heart and the immune system, in order for the body to be able to recover from stressful periods, these systems need to be strong and supplemented. Tonic herbs restore strength and tonify weakened tissues. They work by increasing the body's resistance to disease when the resistance has been impaired and by restoring energy and accelerating recovery.
